"There are alive, potent bright suns, restless ideas that come to light and expand themselves in the clarity of the poem and the story. They seek, I want, to turn on more active sun-souls, committed to changing the world illuminating it, personally, for a moment …”
Laura, ‘Poemas & Poems’
(Original 'El viaje')
The journey
I traverse the Manichean time
Launched to the abodes of heaven and hell
Will I walk by plains of light
or will I drag myself to the blackness invaded?
Will I find the pure green of my dreams
or my heavenly race segregated?
Will I return to some lost feel
Or will I find noone and nothing to create?
Will I miss my full memories
to live waver demiurges ....
Will I play with a contained syllogism
or with the passions of my mind?
Will I open my structured garden
or shut the doors of my free jungle?
Will I hear the perfect musical language
or just the absence of restraint?
I clamor for a Hellenic link
bold and full of my dwellings!
'Eloquent thoughts and words that distinguish the remarkable author Prof. Laura Rojo in his poems and stories. They open up portals of interior light and display ideas and games'.
